Coronavirus news live updates: In the United States, the confirmed coronavirus death toll has reached 32,917 on Thursday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University. While the US has the most number of confirmed coronavirus deaths in the world, it is followed by Italy with 22,170. As death toll rises in the US, President Donald Trump unveiled a plan to reopen the US economy. More than 2.07 million people have been infected by the novel coronavirus globally while 1,38,482 have died. In India, the number of coronavirus cases has gone up to 12,759 cases.
