Coronavirus India Live Updates: Over 12,300 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus in India while death toll has crossed the 400-mark. The nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 3 and the Centre has announced a set of guidelines to follow during the extended lockdown. Maharashtra has the highest number of coronavirus cases in India. Nearly 3,000 people in the state have been infected while in Delhi over 1,500 cases have been reported. Meanwhile, in the United States, nearly 2600 people died in the span of 24 hours, taking the total death toll over 28,000. Over 6 lakh people have caught the infection in the US. Across the world, the total number of Covid-19 deaths have crossed 1,36,000 while the total number of cases have crossed 20 lakh across 180 countries.
