Coronavirus in India Live Updates: As the coronavirus death toll in India crossed the 500-mark and number of Covid-19 cases crossed 17,000, the Centre is set to relax the lockdown from today in some areas that are not coronavirus hotspots. The G20 countries, including India, met via video conferencing to discuss ways to fight the virus together. India has also hit back at Pakistan PM Imran Khan for saying Muslims are being targeted in India during the pandemic. The Centre has said Pakistan should focus on fighting the coronavirus outbreak instead of attacking its neighbours. Meanwhile, the global death toll due to coronavirus has crossed 1,65,000 with over 40,000 dead in the United States itself. Over 24 lakh people across the world have been infected of the virus with the most number of cases being reported in the US. Italy’s death toll has crossed 23,000 and is followed by Spain. France’s death toll is also nearing the 20,000-mark.
84 new cases of Covid-19 in UP, state's tally reaches 1184

Kerala govt to reconsider relaxations in lockdown restrictions: Sources
The Kerala government will now reconsider the relaxations on the lockdown restrictions in the state, sources said. This comes after the home ministry pulled up the state government for diluting its guidelines.
According to government sources, it will reconsider dine-in facility at hotels, saloons and allowing pillion riders in two-wheelers. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is likely to announce the amendments in the relaxation measures in a press briefing on Monday.
Covid-19 relapse cases hit 179 in South Korea

Covid-19: G20 health ministers acknowledge health systems' vulnerability to pandemics
Health ministers from the Group of 20 major economies discussed weaknesses in health systems that made the world vulnerable to the novel coronavirus outbreak and other pandemics, a statement said after a virtual meeting on Sunday. "Health Ministers recognised that the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted systemic weaknesses in health systems," the statement said. "It also has shown vulnerabilities in the global community's ability to prevent and respond to pandemic threats," it further read. (Reuters)
